Im interested in know why you have 1 trap, Barrage, 1 interrupting attack, and a Prep when Barrage removes them

Well you have barrage. Thats a good start. Look for some other skills. A Barrage/Interrupt character is pretty fun

If your absolutely set on using a flatbow...then Interrupting is not the way to go. I'd do either a Barrage Build or a Quickshot build. Barrager's are pretty useful, and a quickshot build would take advantage of the flatbow's fire rate. You can do a search and pull either of them up.

for a flatbow, i'd suggest bringing Favorable Winds. at a high marksmanship, your flatbow would be much more useful. flatten the bow's firing arc and you have a longbow that fires as fast as a short bow.

yup...flatbows are never a good choice unless you got a skill that can speed it up. read the wind or favourable winds=longbow range, shortbow refire, composite bow arrow speed.

well....if you can, i suggest changing it to a faster bow. anything with recurve, composite, dead or eternal is the best bet...well balanced, but longbow is for long range...

For a good all-around bow, that works well with just about everything...I'd find a composite/recurve bow. They're average in Range and rate of fire, and the best for arc and travel time. That's what I'd use if you were just limited to one bow. If you wanted to add range, then Long bow is good as well. I use a short bow most of the time if I'm running a barrage build, Its got a really short range, but I've always had more luck running barrage and getting a full spread of arrows if I'm up close than out far (w/ flat bow). For interrupting you should definately use composite...or a short bow where arc doesn't matter. I've not found much use for the Horn Bow series...Armor penetration is great, but you actually get more damage from a faster fire rate. Now all that said. Flat bows do still have their uses. I like a flatbow for quickshot builds. Something like: Read the winds, Dual Shot, Quick shot, penetrating attack. Then you can use this combo over and over again: Read the winds, then Dual shot + quick shot + regular attack + quick shot +dual shot + quick shot + regular attack. With the faster refire rate you'll be dealing decent damage, and if you wanted you could fire off a pen attack to add a bit more. If you wanted to use the same build with kindle arrows, or ingnite arrows or conjure element...then you'd need to use a short bow. Anyway, that's my two cents!

For a Flatbow - Why are you trying to Interupt and use Barrage...
If your set to use the flatbow...You'll need favorable Winds or drop barrage for using RTW.
For longer range interupting or spiking you'll want a Composite Bow (or one of the bows that act like composite bows, like recurve).
